Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Artists Collective Theatre (ACT) presents its
first holiday show with the family-friendly “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol,” a
retelling of the classic Scrooge story by playwright Tom Mula.
The show runs Dec 26-28 and Jan 2-4 at 8pm.  Perfect for the whole family, this festive
ghost story opens as does Charles Dickens’s A
Christmas Carol
, with Old Marley dead “as a door-nail.”  However, the focus never leaves his chained
and burdened soul, remaining in the ethereal planes of the afterlife.  Given just 24 hours to redeem himself, Jacob
Marley scrambles to reform his former partner in greed- that “squeezing,
wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner,” Ebenezer
Scrooge.  Visit our Patch Blog or www.act-theatre.org for tickets and more information.
