North Main Music School will hold its eigth semi-annual concert on Sunday, November 10, with concerts at 10:00 am, 11:30 am and 1:00 pm, at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH.

Established in Nashua, NH, in 2003, North Main Music offers high quality music instruction for kids and adults. North Main Music teachers are all graduates from renowned music programs such as Berklee College of Music, the New England Conservatory, and Boston University. When first opened by owner and director, Mike McAdam, the school provided electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass lessons. In 2007, McAdam expanded the school through the addition of voice, piano and drum programs. Then, in 2010, North Main Music opened a second school in Bedford, NH. North Main Music has students of all ages, whose goals range from pursuing a career in music, to indulging in their love of music as a hobby.

The North Main Music semi-annual concert provides its students with the opportunity to celebrate and share their skills and passion for music with family, friends and community. This fall’s program will feature performances by students ranging in ages from 6 to 60, as well as several North Main Music instructors.  In addition to solo performances, the concert will showcase North Main Music’s three bands: The Guitar Army, mentored by guitar instructor Jason Latham; Light X, mentored by guitar instructor Shea Ellis; and a brand new, yet-to-be named group, mentored by North Main Music Bedford co-director and drum instructor, Jeff Moore. 
Also participating in the fall concert is the brother-sister band, Murp, composed of 6-year-old Aaralyn and 9-year-old Izzy Oneil, who made it to the semi-final on NBC’s America’s Got Talent this past summer, where they performed live on national television at Radio City Music Hall. Since then, the YouTube video of their performance has clocked over 17 million views. Murp has been keeping busy this fall recording their debut album, and have been featured on NBC, CBS, USA Today, Yahoo!, and other networks and websites.

“We’re looking forward to returning to Tupelo for this fall’s student concert,” said McAdam. “Being able to perform in front of a live audience, in such an esteemed venue, helps our students further develop their skills and passion for music; and having more of our students performing in bands this year brings this experience to a whole new level for the musicians and audience alike.”
