Teri Hillard: Wife, Daughter, Mother of 3, Nurse, 'Team Mom' for Nashua PAL

Theresa “Teri” E. (Bell) Hillard of Nashua, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, after a courageous three-year battle with esophageal cancer.

She was married to Victor G. Hillard III with whom she celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary this past October 7.

Born in Lowell, MA in 1970, she was the daughter of Lyn (Bell) Andrews of Nashua, and the late Richard R. Bell of N. Chelmsford, Mass. She is a graduate of Chelmsford High School class of 1988 and Middlesex Community College School of Nursing.

Teri was employed at Tewksbury State Hospital for over 20 years, her time there serving as and aid and later RN was some of the most rewarding in her life.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford and the Resurrection Parish in Nashua, where she taught CCD.

Teri was a “Teammom” for Nashua PAL FORCE. She was tireless in her support of her children’s athletic programs.

She loved dancing, karaoke and spending time with her family at their vacation home in Vermont.

Besides her husband Victor, she is survived by one daughter, Sarah Kathleen Hillard of Nashua; two sons, Victor Grant Hillard IV of Nashua, and Garrett Michael Hillard of Nashua; her mother, Evelyn Bell Andrews, of Nashua; her brother, Richard R. Bell Jr. of New Durham; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Victor and Janice Hillard of Derry; two brothers-in-law; Dean Hillard of Lowell, Mass. and Ronald and his wife Christina Hillard of Hollis; sister-in-law, Linda and her husband Steven Webster of Raymond; stepmother, Maureen Bell of N. Chelmsford, Mass., and many special aunts, uncles and cousins; and of course Bailey her beloved family dog.

Visiting hours are Dec. 19, 4- 8 p.m.. A funeral Mass is set for  11 a.m. Dec. 20 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Chelmsford, Mass. More at Dolan Funeral Home online site.
