Police Arrest Lake Street Market Robbery Suspect
Michael Fawcett is accused of robbing the Lake Street Convenience Store on Thursday.
Michael Fawcett, 47, of 117 Pine St., Apartment#A, Nashua, was arrested by Nashua Police Aug. 22, charged with robbing the Lake Street Convenience Store.
On August 22 at approximately 10:50 a.m. Nashua Police Department’s Uniform responded to the Lake Street market, 49 Lake St., after a report of a robbery.
Police learned that a man had come into the store and threatened to rob the clerk while armed with a cutting instrument, believed to be a knife. Police do not believe anything was taken during the robbery.

Upon further investigation Fawcett was identified as the suspect and later arrested at his residence.
In addition to the robbery charge, Fawcett also faces a convicted felons charge as a result of having a prior felony conviction and being in possession of a dangerous weapon during the alleged robbery.

He is charged with armed robbery, a class A felony; and convicted felons, class B felony.
A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, exclusive of fines. A Class B Felony is punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Fawcett was held at the Nashua Police Department on $25,000 cash or surety pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Court-Nashua District Division on August 23, 2013.
