Temple Street Resident Charged in Sexual Assault of Minor

Travis O'Hearn faces two felony rape charges and a misdemeanor sex assault charge.

Travis O’Hearn, 27, of 23 Temple St., Apt. #117, Nashua, was arrested Oct. 14 at about 11:40 p.m., charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, and one count of sexual assault, Class A Misdemeanor.

He is accused of raping a teenage girl younger than 18, according to police.

Police responded to a separate Temple Street residence on at about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 for a report of a sexual assault of a juvenile who told police she had been sexually assaulted by a known assailant, allegedly O'Hearn, several days prior. A subsequent investigation by the Youth Services Division resulted in O'Hearn's arrest for the alleged sexual assault.

An aggravated felonious sexual assault is punishable by 10 to 20 years
imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A Class A misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year imprisonment, exclusive of fines. O’Hearn’s bail was set at $50,000 cash or surety and he is being held pending arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on October 15, 2012.
