No Love for Brown? How About Gun-Loving Andy Martin For Senate?

Andy Martin wasn't exactly protesting Scott Brown, but he'd like to run against him in the GOP primary.

Andy Martin of Manchester wants to be the guy who Second Amendment rights advocates send to Washington.

He stood outside the entrance to the Hunt Memorial Building Thursday night, where Republicans were streaming in to spend some quality time with Republican Scott Brown during the annual GOP holiday fundraising party. He stood next to a big self-promotional campaign sign and smiled at the people passing by.

Brown hasn't even officially thrown his hat into the ring, but the speculation over his recent move to New Hampshire was enough to bring 200 demonstrators out – most of them to tell Brown not to bother.

Martin would like Republicans to take a look at him.

"I could beat Scott Brown," Martin says.
