8 Year Old Found After Walking Away from Nashua School

The boy was reportedly found around 11 a.m. at Greeley Park.

An 8-year-old Mt. Pleasant Elementary School student who went missing on Tuesday morning has been found, according to Nashua Police.

A police dispatcher confirmed around 11 a.m. that the student had been found. According to emergency radio broadcasts, school officials lost track of the boy around 9 a.m. The child reportedly left the building and headed down Mt. Pleasant Street. 

The boy's parents were notified, and police canvassed the area and called in a K9 unit. A family member reportedly found the boy around 11 a.m. at Greeley Park off Concord Street.

Calls to the Mt. Pleasant School principal and the Nashua superintendent of schools were not immediately returned on Tuesday morning.
